NOTE :THIS BULLETIN SUPERSEDES TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN NUMBER 23-72-95, DATED NOV. 24,1995, WHICH SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM YOUR FILES AND NOTED IN THE 1995 TSB BOUND BOOK, PUBLICATION NUMBER 81-699-96084. THE PROCEDURE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY REVISED.

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

A rattling or vibrating noise may be present while driving at highway speeds coming from the roof area.

DIAGNOSIS:

Road test the vehicle. If the noise is present, perform the Repair Procedure.

PARTS REQUIRED:

1    4883379AA      Tension Clip Package

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This bulletin involves installing tension clips to the roof rack stanchions.

Insert the tension clips to the stanchions as shown. Insert 1 clip onto each of the four rails/stanchions. Hook the clip under the rail and snap it in place.

POLICY: Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
